Got the Logitech G19. I like the display with the TS app or the WoT integrated app showing statistics or the clan/academy hq chat while in game. Drawback: It's no "progamer" keyboard because it does not have mechanical keys.
Mouse Logitech Performance MX no dpi settings no button monster but wirless, some keys to customize (fast sniper and 3d person change, fire extinguisher, "T" target designation) and I like the shape of it for long play&work hours.
Mousepad steelseries Diablo III edition.

This small display can show YouTube, Videos, PC status infos and depending if implemented by the game devs ingame information. Wargaming displays:
in the garage: some stats (no not the important stuff like wn6/7 etc just battles, kills, hit ratio, etc)
start of the battle: a nice image which map is comming up
in battle: key map for the f-keys or (after pressing insert... tip for owners) the chat going on in the channels you got in the garage.

But most usefull in TC's is the TS app:

For the price of that keyboard you can buy a screen, maybe 19' or 21'. I think is even better having 2 screens, isn't it? You can watch F1 or youtube videos while playing Very Happy

Re: R.A.T gaming mouse.

I would never buy a screen for 150 € because either it is to small or really bad quality Wink

For me this is just interessting for ingame info or TS in WoT.

And to that point i have to admit that I got the potential to have 3 screens (2 x 24" and the 17" Laptop Screen)
But when playing I normally use the 24" directly in front for the game and split the other 24" between TS and Spotify and the 17" sometimes for a webbrowser to check things while dead in a battle or the loading screen. I know for some people that might be weired but I am used to multi screen setups for work (3 at work also)

At work it's more of small screen => mails and skype/lync, main screen development tools (Visual Studio, Eclipse and shit) and the other for additional things i often need (SQL Managment Studio, Word, Excel, Browser or what needed at the moment.)

The keyboard offers some nice features for work like having the possibillity to have macros on the programmable keys which could be usefull when you don't have to write 15+ lines of code (reoccuring only other names like it happens from time to time when programming) and just press one key enter the name and have the whole stuff generated automatically. But this is not only a macro it's combined with some special software to allow this.

I agree, if you use that keyboard for something more...it's ok, but I still prefer a "bad" screen than that keyboard. My home setup is double screen, the principal that I make a color calibration every month and is the better one, but for the second one a "meh" screen could work for me.Very Happy

When you get used to a double screen setup...is like heaven.Very Happy

Cheers.

I just bought a new screen so I have my old smaller screen again, just need to buy a passive displayport to vga adapter to run it. Once I have it running do I need to do anything special configuration-wise to get this game running on 1 monitor only?

no works fine. Is started on screen 1. Could be seen in right click desktop => Screen resolution then there should be 2 screens displayed. On the right of them there should be 2 buttons (detect and identify) click the identify button the screen where the large 1 is shown is the primary screen. Could be changed by setting the multiple display options. This information is only valid on: Windows Vista (i think), Windows 7 and 8 (for sure).

Don't have a gaming keyboard, however I use one of these - http://www.belkin.com/uk/p/P-F8GFPC200

Nice and comfy, with loads of programable keys.

I got 2 monitors also and would recommend Actual Multiple Monitors http://www.actualtools.com/multiplemonitors/

Lot of cool features, but 2 that stand out for me.
1) Ignore deactivation. What this does is, you launch a game, press a hotkey combination and now you can use your mouse outside the game (on the 2nd monitor) without the game minimizing. Reaaaally useful when using TS, browser or anything else while playing.
2) Mirror toolbar on the 2nd monitor. Mirrors your toolbar to the 2nd screen. Useful with the above.

Other nice features that make using 2 monitors easier, I probably don't even know about half of them.

Don't laugh but I'm using an ATI 6670 (http://www.powercolor.com/global/products_features.asp?id=340)

Would it possible for me to run WoT on screen 1 using the DVI connector and have a webbrowser running on a second screen using the VGA connector without a drop in FPS in WoT?

how do you use that keyboard hand thing in WoT? you obviously need more keys than it has for the repairs? :-/

grumpyste: it might, since 1 card powers 2 things at once, don't forget you could also install a second older video card and have that power the other monitor: no fps loss then. At least under linux you can, don't know about windows but I don't see why not. (I only used linux until just now recently so... :-/ )

As far as i know it has a mode switch to have multiple key mappings but I think to when I would try to remember what key does what in which mode will just cause my head to explode ... after i tried to fire extinguish the dead loader.

No i thought about buying such a thing too but I decided against it because i think it needs quite some time to adapte to ... in my theory and then you cannot rage on the team in random chat (just kidding almost never use the chat in randoms).

2 Monitor Setup on low powered graphics cards:
If you got a second monitor and a VGA cable give it a try ... But I think that should not be too bad because my setups both (work and home) run fine with laptops on 1200 or 1080 resolutions and my laptop for work has definitivly not an overpowered integrated graphicscard.

CM Storm Quickfire TK keyboard - Because backlit mechanical keys and quite narrow (which is vital for me because I have limited desk space)

Logitech G13 Game Panel - Had pretty bad RSI a few years back. I taught myself to play right handed, just so I could have some better mouse options and the game panel helps to keep my left hand in a fairly relaxed posture while gaming. Additionally, I just take it with me when I go over to my friend's house for our weekly gaming and boozing night and have the same controls there. I reckon it is near the end of it's life now, I expect cable breakage pretty soon. I will probably replace it with a Razer Orbweaver then, but am still shopping around.

I use a cheap €15 keyboard and when it gets dirty, with dust and crap, I throw it away and buy the next one. :s

For some reason dusts gathers between and underneath the keys and you just can't get it decently clean.

The Storm keyboards come with a tool to remove the keys and underneath is a pretty easy to clean surface.
