Greetings fellow tankers. Signed on here after reading the post in the forums, wish I'd found SGTA ages ago!

Recently left my last clan cos it sucked, and before I can join a good clan I need to improve.

For some reason I'm an above average player up till tier 5, then Tier 6+ I suck ass, so I joined here to try and improve!

Apparently I rush too much and I don't know how to fall back Very Happy Hopefully platooning and training with you guys will teach me to fail less often, particularly at Tier 8+.

My favourite tank type is actually arty, but it's depressing playing in randoms with no help, so I generally use the GW Panther at high tiers which I love cos of its mobility. One day I will also grind the Lorraine arty for the same reason. I tend to prefer high accuracy fast firing arty rather than long reload zero mobility doomslayers.

I also like playing meds and heavies, but I'm not so good with these. TDs and light tanks are my weakest vehicle types.

Anyway, enough of that tot, I can't think of much more to say except never eat yellow snow!

Past tier 5, the guns grow immensely in power and accuracy. At tier 8, you cannot really rely on low tier tendancy of just driving in and killing stuff in sight. Positioning and terrain knowledge along with knowing the armor profile/gun depression/penetrative powers of your tanks is imperative for playing decently at such tiers. Also, knowing enemy limitations is also very important, as you need to avoid getting into battles that favor the enemy unless you absolutely have to.
For heavy tanks, angling is quite important for all of them, and since heavies normally combat the front of other tanks, weakspot knowledge is also very important.
For medium tanks, its alot more about map/terrain knowledge, map awareness and making good decisions. Tank profile is also very important for mediums as for example, a T-34-1 can annihilate an E-100 if alone with it at close range, and a T-54 can destroy an IS-7 fairly easily depending on terrain. Knowing your mobility limits and the enemy mobility limits is important for medium tanks, as the last thing you want is to have an ISU turn in time to give you a taste of its big stick.
